Tender Touch Small Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our privately owned, well-established small animal practice in Redmond, Washington. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive wellness, preventive, medical, and surgical care for companion animals.
Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe appropriate therapies.
Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures.
Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and other diagnostic tests.
Educate clients on preventive care, treatment options, nutrition, and long-term health management.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
Participate in continuing education and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
Uphold the highest standards of medical excellence, ethics, and client service.

Requirements
Job Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary college.
Current Washington State veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure before employment.
DEA license (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Strong clinical skills in small animal medicine and surgery.
Excellent communication and client education skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to veterinary care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a positive, team-oriented environment.
Commitment to providing high-quality medical care and exceptional client service.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Interest in continuing education and professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in small animal general practice.
Proficiency in routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
Interest or experience in ultrasound, Fear Free handling, acupuncture, or other special interests is a plus.
